Almond Biscuit

Ingredients :
160 gm of butter
150 gm of sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp of vanilla
220 gm of flour
80 gm of cornstarch
60 gm of almond nibs

Glaze :
1 egg yolk
some chopped almond

Method:
1) In a medium bowl mix flour, cornstarch and almond nibs. Mix well.
2) Cream sugar and butter until light and creamy. Add in egg and vanilla until well combined.
3) Slow down the speed of your mixer and slowly add in the flour until everything became
dough.
4) Lightly dust your work surface with some flour and roll out the cookie dough to about 0.5cm
thickness. Cut out dough with a cookies cutter into desire shapes. Arrange cookies into a
lightly greased baking tray.
5) Brush the top of the cookies with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle some almond on top.
6) Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree F oven for 15 minutes or lightly brown. Cool and wire racks.
