Lepat Pumkin









Ingredients:
500gm pumkin
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup wheat flour
20 pcs banana leaf (18cm x 14cm)

Method:
1)Cut pumpkin into cubes, steam until cooked and mash while still hot. Set aside.
2)Add in the sugar and salt. Mix well.
3)Sift in the flour and mix.
4)Take a piece of cut-out banana leaf. Brush lightly with oil. Take one tbsp dough and spread it out in the centre of the banana leaf. Wrap up.
5)Place the kuih in a steamer and steam for 15-20 minutes.
6)Remove and serve the kuih hot or chill.

Red Bean Pudding










Ingredients:
1 canned red bean
10gm agar-agar powder
3/4 cup sugar
750ml water
1 canned evaporated milk

Method:
1) In a bowl mix agar-agar powder and sugar.
2) In a medium pot add water and bring it to boil.
3) When boiling add the sugar and agar-agar mixture. Whisk until dissolve.
4) Add milk and red bean. Whisk to blend.
5) Pour into jelly mould.

Lychee Jelly





Ingredients:
1 canned lychee in syrup
1 box konyaku jelly powder with lychee flavour
500ml water

Method:
1) Mix agar-agar powder into the lychee juice and water.
2) Bring to a boil. Switch off the flame and add in the lychee.
3) Pour into small moulds. Leave aside to set. Chill well before serving.
